HOD’s Message

In the era of digital transformation, data has become one of the most valuable assets driving decision-making and innovation across industries. The Department of Data Science is committed to preparing students to harness the power of data and convert it into actionable knowledge.

Our academic programs are designed to provide a strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, programming, data structures, machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, data visualization, and cloud computing. Emphasis is placed on experiential learning through well-equipped laboratories, real-world projects, internships, and industry-oriented training to ensure students gain both theoretical understanding and practical expertise.

The department is supported by a team of qualified and dedicated faculty members who actively engage in teaching, research, and continuous professional development. Students are encouraged to participate in hackathons, data challenges, workshops, certification programs, and research activities to enhance analytical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
